Saturday in London. I met up with my friend Aggi on Saturday, originally for her to introduce me to Shoreditch and all the vintage steals it has there. However, we ended up doing a walking tour of zone 1. After starting in Shoreditch, we then continues over London Bridge and down into Borpugh market which was just closing down as 5pm approached. From there we followed the road down to the south bank and walked all the way along the Thames, past the globe and a little pop up theatre towards the real food market. After sitting down for several coffees we made out way back to Kings Cross and I went home.

It was the perfect introduction to living in London, Aggi had no end of information and we walked past hundreds of restaurants and most importantly, cupcake cafes. The food markets were amazing to see, although I still worry a little about the hygiene for food In a market, especially by closing time. But I did pick up a gorgeous chocolate tart from a mini food market in Shoreditch (pictured below).
