Denim Jacket: ASOS | Riding Pants: American Apparel (also in other colours directly from American Apparel) | Shoes: New Look (similar here) | Stripe Top: Urban Outfitters (old)
This is an outfit I wore to work last week – only late posting as my boyfriend came to see me this weekend in London so we were busy exploring all of London and had no wifi for the trip!
These riding pants have proven to be one of the best buys I’ve ever made. When I went home a couple of weeks ago, I almost ruined them sitting on a pub bench – I didn’t realise I was sat on the tip of a nail and as I moved about during lunch the material began to pull, leaving me with ugly big threads hanging out – like when you pull on tights. THANKFULLY, my mother is a genius and managed to pull all the threads back through – so if this ever happens to you, it can be fixed! Just DON’T cut the threads!
The crop top is described as a “boxy tee”, I’ve had it years, and only begun to wear it more recently as high waisted items have come into fashion, therefore allowing me to experiment with crops without showing any flesh – apart from when you bend over and it shows your spine maybe. But back’s have no fat – score! It also works tucked in or out as the loose fit compliments the skin tight trousers – a boob flattening bra with nice straps (in case the neckline slips accidentally) is also a must!
I paired this with my red Vans during the day for comfort during my internship but also love these ballet pumps with it! There will be more posts to come from the weekend but my boyfriend has all the photos (THIS WEEKEND I WILL HAVE AN iPHONE – from then on blogging will become ridiculously easy and I’m so excited!)
