Say hello and welcome my beautiful new shoes. Have you ever seen any this shiny? Today was their first official outing, I always buy new shoes and then keep them safe in my cupboard for a little while and make sure there is absolutely no chance of rain before I wear them. I fell in love with the colour of these shoes before the ASOS sale, and waiting paid off, with a big discount just after Christmas. They’re so comfy and I love the patent/suede contrast – I’m just so scared of the shine going!

Otherwise, it’s a pretty simple outfit – although I lovelovelove the texture of this jumper, I picked it up in London this Summer (yes, I bought a jumper in the middle of July), and knew I had to have it for when Autumn inevitably kicked in. The rough edges somehow feel cosy and homely, with a few splashes of colour.

I’ve also spotted a beautiful pair of slip on shoes in Topshop, but they’re not available online yet, so I’ll be watching the New In section all week – a girl can never have too many shoes.
