Finally – summer is here and the Sun is out in the South! My mum and sister came to visit last week and stayed in a hotel near Kensington, which gave us the perfect excuse to spend our Sunday morning strolling around Hyde Park – what a beautiful place!

Though the sun was out, the wind had come to play too so the coat was a necessity last weekend! This one was a Christmas present that is been searching high and low for after it sold out everywhere but one morning I checked the website and there was just one in my size – you know when that happens it’s meant to be! And it is perfect!

I absolutely adore this bag! I saw it in the Covent Garden Cambridge Satchel Shop, and knew I had to have it, and luckily (thank you Mum!), it was wrapped up ready to open on my 22nd birthday! I just love personalised things – so this fits in well with my collection, and getting to pick my letters and colours was such a fun experience making it even more my own bag. I wear it everywhere (apart from to the office – a laptop does not fit!), the colour is perfect for all year round, it has definitely become a staple.
