So a few weeks ago, I fell in love with this kind of jacket and wanted one of my own. My mum is often found in the conservatory amongst a pile of fabric behind the sewing machine (those that know my family will know how big that pile is…). I also knew she had made a similar jacket before, so requested my own in white – because, you know, that’s what mum’s are for (ahem – thanks Sally!).So here is the finished product – isn’t it lovely? It’s exactly what I wanted and perfect for dressing up a casual outfit or taking to the office. I’m loving the monochrome look with that dash of dark red from my satchel – and of course I’m wearing my new favourite summer staple – these ASOS sandals!
