So I know it’s been a little bit all over the place over here since New York, but here we are – back to Wednesday posting! I’m finally settling back into my routine at home and work and getting back into that rhythm. I know I promised you all things New York – and boy do I still have lots to share with you – but I’ve also been shopping since I got back (pretty majorly I have to admit), so I thought I’d break it all up a little and share this one with you now there’s that little (or not so little?!) chill in the air.

I suppose I’ve fully given in to those darker, autumnal colours – burgundy for me fully represents a change of season, but I’m still clinging on to the last of the vaguely warm sunshine and keeping this lighter coat on from H&M. Walking to work means I actually get pretty warm, so this lovely purchase is doing exactly the right job for me. I love the pattern and texture on it, and have found it actually goes with pretty much everything in my wardrobe at the moment – hurrah!

And please welcome my favourite new skirt – finally a skirt that I love and is of a decent enough length. It also has two pockets – I love pockets!  It also comes in black and amber – I might be going back for more…

I suppose I should also mention this funky little shirt I found on instagram, then luckily came across in store (I can’t seem to find it online). But bunnies, bunnies, bunnies – what more could you want from a shirt than for it to make you smile and feel like a little kid again?

There’s big love for the rucksack I’m sneaking in here coming up in a whole new post – it’s not left my side yet! Until then…
