Well hello comfiest jeans I’ve ever worn ever. Being a strictly super skinny jean kind of gal usually, I’ve been missing out on just how comfy a slightly looser pair can be. Last year when looser “mom” jeans were everywhere, I struggled to find a pair which flattered me, often not fitting at the waist and hanging straight under my behind (definitely not good). Enter these “girlfriend” jeans stage right. They’re super high to keep my tummy warm, but also well fitted until the very end, where they stay a little straighter and present a little roll up opportunity (though this will quickly become a roll down situation once the chill kicks in!).
You’ve definitely seen the coat and bag (some might say “wardrobe classics” of mine) before, but it’s getting to that time of year when I bring out the thicker coat and leave the summer jacket behind! This Cambridge Satchel Push Lock is definitely my favourite ‘around town’ bag, for weekends – it doesn’t let me carry much around so doesn’t get in the way of my touristy/shopping/eating/whatever-else-comes-my-way adventures. These photos were taken on a day exploring our new area near Borough Market – I love all the hidden streets and winding ways Walsh and I found!
Speaking of exploring, I mentioned these adidas Superstars in my New York post, but here they are in their full (almost still white!) glory. Adidas trainers have been everywhere for the last year, and though I may be a little late to the party, I can certainly see why they’ve stuck around! These could be clouds. There’s so much cushioning around your foot it makes trekking round London (or New York) easy, and they look good with any jeans, and I’ve spied a few workwear outfits I’d like to try them with!
In other news, I’m so excited for Christmas already – not least as I get to go home and get my haircut, have it neatened up a little! But first, Christmas shopping must be done. I’ve got a few posts in the pipeline for you…
