I know, I know – I’m a little bit behind on posts once again! I’m finding it a little difficult to keep up at the moment with everything that’s going on around me! But bear with me, there’s a few things coming up I’m really excited about, I just want to make them perfect before I post them!

So last weekend, Simon and I took a wander over to Colombia Road for some flower power action. After visiting just a few weeks ago, we’ve both taken a liking to the famous hustle bustle of the market and the cute little streets nearby, it’s fast becoming our favourite way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon.

From the stalls to the antique shops well hidden behind the flowers, you could spend hours zig zagging in and out while attempting to make it through the crowds to the other end. Along the way, we stopped off to pick up my flower of (blogger) choice, the peony. Living with a boy means I was heavily directed towards the white variety, rather than the beautiful pink I have come to know and love through Instagram (I wasn’t entirely against it, they also matched my jeans – ahem).

I have to admit this is the first time I’ve whipped these skinny white babies out. After purchasing them at the end of last Summer, there was no (acceptable) opportunity to wear them without me feeling a little self concious. After browsing Pinterest for hours, I do love the grey cable knit jumper and white jean combination many people manage to nail, but white jeans in London do scare me – I was constantly checking my behind for things I might have sat in!

Take a visit to Colombia Road if you have a spare Sunday. The market kicks off around 8am, but if you don’t mind not getting the best of the bunch the crowds seem to quieten down around 1-2pm as the market wraps up and the best deals come out. You won’t regret it!
