Remember that time we has sunshine? Yeah, me too.

A couple of weeks ago – when the sun was a-shining – I dragged a sleepy Simon out of bed and demanded an ice cream cookie sandwich for lunch (yes, as my main course). After my best puppy eyes and a whole lot of persuading, I got my way and off we went for the best of lunch of the week.

Living so near Druid and Maltby Street market is so good and so bad at the same time. It means we can have a cheeky lie in and still be there in time for lunch, which seems to have become a little bit of a habit the past few weekends (but more on that one in another post!).

That weekend marked the start of the longer nights and slightly cooler temperatures as I slung on jeans instead of keeping to my summer bare leg routine. However, it did mean I could pull these babies out! These embroidered jeans were in the ASOS sale, and they’re so simple and easy to sling them on for a little edge to an otherwise basic outfit. The pink and red embroidery means I can choose how I’m feeling and match my lipstick to my mood and my jeans all in one – everything I’ve ever wanted. Since Summer started I’ve been partial to a pretty bright lip, having invested in a few (maybe a few too many? – said no girl ever). But this Urban Decay purchase was on a whim, having spotted the brightest pink I could, it’s a little bit deeper than my MAC Candy Yum Yum, making it wearable which pretty much every outfit I own. Now I’ve got into wearing lipstick over Summer, ain’t no rain gonna stop me now…

Do you have any recommendations for the stalls on Maltby or Druid Street? I’m working my way through week by week!
