Make or break
So you might’ve noticed it’s been a little while since I’ve last posted. It’s taken me a few weeks to realise exactly what I wanted to do (and exactly how to write this post). Did I want to keep posting the content I’ve already started on, or did I want to take a step back and find a direction to take my blog forward?
After blogging for three years, I’ve become a little lost in trying to keep up with everything that’s changing in the blogging world. It’s already changed so much in the time I’ve taken part. I’ve kept a diary of all my purchases, favourite holidays and beauty finds for the past few years. Now t’s time for me to take a little break. As blogging becomes bigger and bigger as an industry, it’s harder to find your niche (for me anyway), and gives more cause for concern when you compare yourself to the well-established bloggers and up-and-coming influencers taking over Instagram with their thousands of followers. So, I’m going to take a little step back and remember why I’ve kept writing for the past three years, and stop looking stalking my Google Analytics.
This isn’t the end for carryoncaroline. I’ll be back with new content and new exciting features in 2017, but for now I’m heading for a break. If you’ve been reading this blog a while – thank you for following, and thank you to all those who have stumbled across it. I’ll be back.
